On Wednesday we are having a sort of practice workshop which we will lead with the year 12's at the Crescent primary school. I was slightly annoyed at seeing that there was already a lesson plan created for each group to lead, as it meant most of our idea's weren't incorporated into the main lesson plan, and I thought from playing the games that we'd created, the year 13's had come up with some really good exercises.
Reading through the workshop plan, I think it might be hard to engage some of the children in some of the activities, such as the last one. I feel like it may be a long activity for them and we might loose their attention. I always find that when we do workshops they always go way too quickly and it always seems like we have to speed things a long to get to the end. I just hope this doesn't happen with this workshop.
